Q1: What is Global IP Index™?
A: Global IP Index™ is a neutral IP platform
that provides a secure connection for point-to-point and multi-point video
conference traffic between different network operators and/or service providers
via IP (Internet Protocol) and ISDN. This can be achieved WITHOUT the use of conventional bridges.

Q2: What technology does Global IP Index™ use to enable cross connection of video conferencing traffic?
A: Global IP Index™ provides a secure network via VPN (Virtual Private Network)
technology as encrypted streams of video traffic through the interaction of firewall and gatekeeper.

Q3: How can network operators and/or service providers connect to Global IP Index ™?
A: It is possible to connect to the IP platform via a variety of IP transits such as dedicated leased lines, TDM, Frame Relay, MPLS, Ethernet and other forms of connectivity over the Internet. The IP platform can provide maximum flexibility to network operators and/or service providers.

A: Yes, the IP platform supports all types of ITU (International Telecommunication Union) standards for video conferencing.

A: A wide range of video conferencing systems are compatible with the Global IP Index™ service which conforms to H.323, SIP and SCCP standards.

Q7: What is the installation process?
A: These are the steps for end user installation:
- A new circuit is connected to your premises*;
- A CPE router and firewall (video compliant) are installed at your premises*;
- A connectivity test is conducted by the Service Provider
and/or ICU Global Ltd to ensure that your video equipment
is working correctly on the Global IP Index™ network;
- A final end-to-end video connectivity test is carried out.
*Provision of hardware is subject to Service Provider/end user agreement.

Q8: Does Global IP Index™ provide MCU services?
A: Yes, it provides services conducted over multipoint conferencing via IP and ISDN, subject to Service Provider agreement.
