ICU (GLOBAL) Ltd are launching their new product GlobalIPindex,
a revolutionary IP platform, at the WAVE exhibition. It is
designed to solve the problems of choppy transmissions for
video conferencing over IP.
CEO Stephen McKenzie states: “We are pioneers
in the IP (Internet Protocol) network arena. A lot of the
service providers are producing networks that are incompatible
with each other…. and there is the security issue. Our
product by providing a platform for the IP or ISDN network
can give seamless and secure connections. This means an upgrade
in the quality, and downgrade in the cost of video conference
transmissions over IP.”
GlobalIPindex can connect the networks of different service
providers without the usual reductions in quality. It can
be used for any type of audio, visual or video conference
communication. The new product GlobalIPindex is suited to
multinationals, international law firms, governments and universities…where
international meetings are the norm.
Stephen McKenzie ICU (GLOBAL) Ltd is speaking at the WAVE
conference and expects the exhibition to attract interest
from international blue chip companies, along with service
providers. Of last year’s event he said: “WAVE
worked brilliantly for us. It’s an event any conferencing
company should exhibit at. The visitors were knowledgeable
and keen to embrace new ideas and solutions. Best of all they
had significant amounts to invest in conferencing solutions.
We have won significant new business and are looking forward
to WAVE 2004.”
